Dez Bryant deal is done

The Dallas Cowboys have announced that receiver Dez Bryant has agreed to terms.

And, yes, the e-mail from the Cowboys came through just as we were posting the blurb about the strong indications that the deal is done.

As a result, agent Eugene Parker represented the last first-rounder to sign in 2009 (receiver Michael Cratbree), and he represented the first first-rounder to sign in 2010.

UPDATE: Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that the contract covers five years, with a base value of $11.8 million and $8.5 million guaranteed. As often has been the case, the actual numbers could be a bit softer.
