Marry morningwig is one of the dumbest coaches to ever coach in the NFL. Does anybody remember his time with the lions? He ran that franchise into the ground! remember that overtime game where he won the toss and elected to kick off? What an idiot! Seriously, the guy might know how to run an offense, but he is a terrible evaluator of talent. I’m surprised he got another job after the Detroit debacle.

@realitypolice, so Mike Vick gets no credit for getting his team to an NFC Championship game huh, all the sudden it’s all about the team 45 guys get a Super Bowl ring I guess Drew Brees was just a long for the ride last year right. The guy is talented you and many people on this forum just don’t like him, if he wasn’t talented then he wouldn’t be in the NFL and once upon a time ago wouldn’t have gotten that contract.

What an incredibly stupid post. Matt Millen got a paycheck for years to run the Detroit Lions into the ground- was he smarter than everyone else too? Oh, and by the way, who was his coach most of those horrible years?
So everyone who gets a job in the NFL is automatically smarter than every average citizen in the country?

Do you haters honestly think Vick will not improve this season. He’s had a whole offseason to get his body into shape and learn the playbook. Im not saying that Vick will be some pro-bowl player, but its ridiculous to believe that he wont be any better than he was last season.

180 players suit up for a conference championship game every year. 90 suite up for a Super Bowl every year. 45 players every freakin year get a Super Bowl ring.
Playing in one conference championship game in 10 years is hardly a resume-maker. In fact, I think it would be more of a condemnation of someone who was supposed to be God’s own gift to the QB position when he came out of college.

Marty, should stick to calling plays…even if they’re so predictable that the other defense knows what is coming, (a pass), way in advance of the snap!
