Report: Rams close to signing second-round pick

Though it still may be a while before any of the players taken in the first round of the draft are signed, the first pick that wasn’t a first-round pick could be coming to terms soon.

Brian Stull of ESPN 101 (via Turf Show Times) reports that the Rams are closing in on a deal for Indiana tackle Rodger Saffold.

Only two second-round picks have signed.

RODGER SAFFOLD…WOW that’s almost as earth shaking as Brian Sipe and Burning River announcing they are lovers and closet Raven fans.
They have no brains and live in a trailor park…so what do you expect.

    wtf are you talking about
This is good news, not only that the highest pick yet will be signing (thus making it easier on other teams to negotiate) but also that Bradford will have the Rams’ full attention and after he signs, the dominoes will start to fall.
