Neil Hayes of the Chicago Sun Times passes along word that FOX News television personality Glenn Beck recently referred to Bears middle linebacker Brian Urlacher as “a neo-Nazi” when analyzing a website-created list that Beck and Urlacher both appeared on entitled “The Blackest White Folks We Know.”
We’d prefer not to generate the slightest bit of traffic for a website that came up with such a ridiculous topic. Thus, the website’s name will not be mentioned here.
According to Jensen, Beck made the comment ”presumably because of [Urlacher's] shaved head.” Beck’s ignorance, across the board, is stunning.
He doesn’t know sports, and he has no tact.

Glen Beck actually was quoting from a “black culture” web site called The Root (not Roots). It is run by one Henry Louis Gates (no relation to Bill).
That website had a racist list and pictures of the “blackest white white folks we know” (imagine if David Duke had the whitest black folks he knows). Beck was one of those listed and pictured.
Beck when seeing only the photos said “I don’t know these people except Bill Clinton and the space alien (James Carville).
When Beck saw a stoic photograph of Brian Urlacher with his skinhead haircut he said “this guy he looks like a neo-Nazi” not knowing who was in the photograph.
He never called Mr. Urlacher a neo-Nazi. He just said a guy in a picture (who happened to be Mr. Urlacher) looked like a neo-Nazi.

You really don’t know a thing. Fox News has actually LOST viewers from last year. NBC, ABC and CBS news BLOW AWAY Fox. Fox dominates the cable news but they’re getting their asses kicked by the others. If they weren’t on cable, they’d be canceled because of how low their ratings are when compare to the others. On their best nights, Fox garners 2.5 mil while ABC, NBC and CBS have over 20 million viewers for their news, it’s just that they’re spread out over 3 networks. CBS News, the lowest rated network news program, takes in over 5 mil while Fox does 2.5. Seems like you need to stop watching Fox and get your news somewhere else to find out the truth.

Fox dominates the cable news but they’re getting their asses kicked by the others. If they weren’t on cable, they’d be canceled because of how low their ratings are when compare to the others. On their best nights, Fox garners 2.5 mil while ABC, NBC and CBS have over 20 million viewers for their news, it’s just that they’re spread out over 3 networks. CBS News, the lowest rated network news program, takes in over 5 mil while Fox does 2.5. Seems like you need to stop watching Fox and get your news somewhere else to find out the truth.

I’ve seen Beck’s show many, many times … unfortunately. It’s a joke. Most of the time, when Beck slams the president (or whoever they attack the other 5% of the time) quotes are taken out of context, he’s being sickeningly hypocritical, he’s blatantly making up “facts,” he’s presenting theory as fact or he’s passing along info from another very dubious “news” outlet.
