The Cowboys have arrived in San Antonio for training camp and they’ve even given their introductory press conferences. (Wade Phillips lost 40 pounds and is a grandfather! Tony Romo came in five pounds below his weight!)

After the pleasantries were over, COO Stephen Jones indicated that taking care of Miles Austin is priority number one of the front office now that all the team’s rookies have signed.

“When we make sure we’ve got our hands around everything, he’s first and foremost,” Jones told Todd Archer about this week’s SI cover boy.

Jones alluded to the “uncertainty” of the labor situation, but it sounds like that won’t stop the Cowboys from paying their best receiver something close to what their fourth-best wide receiver Roy Williams makes.
