Report: Brady reports for camp with Pats rookies

Well, it’s apparently been settled.  Pats quarterback Tom Brady has reported for training camp in New England, despite speculation that he could stay away for a few days or longer to protest the lack of progress on a contract extension.

Adam Caplan of FOXSports.com reports that Brady reported with the team’s rookies on Sunday.  Per Caplan, quarterbacks were required to show up with the team’s rookies on July 25; veterans are required to report on July 28.

And, yes, teams may require quarterbacks and injured players to show up in advance of the launch of training camp, according to the league’s Player Personnel manual.

What a shock. All the rumors. All the reports. All the speculation…..and no substance….once again. ESPN and Florio will surely come out to say that they have been full of crap over the last month and just made it all up just to fill the slow period before camp. Sure they will!

Couldnt happen too soon for Tom. Not only does he get away from the kids and the old lady for awhile, but the poor guy had about three acres of lawn to worry about over there on the Riviera.

Whoever is reviewing and posting messages was it really necessary to post the spam for tallloving.com ?
And to the a-holes at bspn, the worldwide joke of sportscasting, of course there will be no accountability for the crap you made up about Brady.
And you wonder at Bristol why so many people have stopped watching your channels.

The funny part is that this is more intelligent than anything funi or DanRooney has ever posted.

It kills me when Moron’s like Florio say, “Despite the speculation…”. The only speculation here was what he and other media folks manufactured.

Good one Shux. Will she answer?

Actually Shux, I wonder if it is Deb or Frank Burns? :)

  20. JoeSixPack says: Jul 26, 2010 10:26 AM

In other news, John Clayton’s credibility has decided to hold out.

Frank Burns or IAG for sure. Deb has more sense than that.
Luckily us short girls/trannys don’t need a website to get a man.
Did anyone really doubt that Brady was going to be in camp?
Suck it Cryptkeeper, Florio, Breer, Mort, Silver etc.

  22. Pastabelly says: Jul 26, 2010 10:51 AM

John Clayton is a bit of a douche for speculating that Brady “might” hold out. Brady doesn’t need to hold out. If they don’t pay him, someone else will.

  23. Iron Wolf says: Jul 26, 2010 11:07 AM

Florio, you should start posting messages about “2012″. At least you’ll have 2.5 years with that story before being made to look like a moron.

    # Pastabelly says: Brady doesn’t need to hold out. If they don’t pay him, someone else will.
    Really? How does that work?
He’s under contract to the Patriots for 2010. He plays for $10 million this year (including signing bonus $ – not just the $3.5 million salary only that PFT and others like to report) or sits out and collects nothing.
Anyone making him another offer – let alone paying him – is tampering and will lose a draft pick.

  25. CliveRush says: Jul 26, 2010 2:43 PM

Clayton should work for the White House crisis team. If there is no problem we can invent one.
