Colts announce signing of two seventh-round picks

The Indianapolis Colts have announced the signing of two of their three seventh-round draft picks.

Linebacker Kavell Conner and defensive back Ray Fisher have both signed. The Fisher signing was reported last week, but not officially announced until today.

Conner, who played at Clemson, is expected to contribute immediately in special teams coverage, but probably not get a lot of playing time on defense as a rookie. Fisher, who played at Indiana, was a good return man in college and could help the Colts on special teams as well.

Conner and Fisher are the first two draft picks to sign with the Colts, who open training camp on Sunday. The team still has six more picks to get under contract in the next five days.
