It may be futile to debate with someone with as much insight as a lemming, but here it goes: The Bengals consistently draft players who have significant character problems and that is why your team will always be considered the scum on the under-belly of the NFL. In 2010, there was Geno Atkins and most notably, Carlos “I drink myself unconscious only when championships are on the line” Dunlap. In 2009, there was Rey “I’m not too old to be drunk with 16 yr-old girls yet” Maualuga, Michael Johnson and Bernard “there isn’t a school I couldn’t get kicked out of or a coach I couldn’t punch in the face” Scott. In 2008, there was Jason Shirley . . . you know what – you’re too stupid for me to go on – feel free to love your Superbowless chain gang; I hope you do sign the garbage bag, he’d fit right in with you.

To all the complete morons who said last year was a fluke.. the 4th best defense in the NFL is no fluke. Check 2008… also a great D that year.
Now, they will arguably have the deepest offense in the AFC (they already had the deepest defense, to which there is absolutely no argument.. if you debate that you know butkus about the NFL).
Pair that defense with Chad, TO, Bryant, Caldwell, Benson, and Gresham??? I mean, any soul who says he’s a NFL person who would say he didn’t want that lineup is a flaming LIAR. hahahahaaha. “oh, he’s a cancer.. I’d rather go 2-14 than win with guys like that”… haha… u guys are all a bunch of pansies.
I mean, seriously. Steeler fans are supposed to be smart about the game. They can’t see the talent on that football team in Cincinnati?

I have been a Bengal’s fan since they started and NEVER was embarrassed, so, I don’t know what’s wrong with you and your pinheaded statement above. They just need to hold on to a good coach. Nothing wrong with the stripped helmets either. Its the best looking helment in the league and is ten times better than the previous, unimaginative one. And, stripes are the last thing some running backs remember before they get hit.

I am a long-time T.O. hater.
However, if he signs for the right price (low) and keeps his piehole shut, I see more positives than negatives.
Two things make me think he’ll behave himself – his friendship with Chad Johnson and the veterans in the Bengal locker-room.
All that said, I trust Carson Palmer’s opinion more than anyone else on the matter.

Well said homie. That is what ppl fail to realize. TO has nothing but upside, for the Bengals. He mouths off, hes gone. Period end of story. I once heard a wise man tell me that even a stupid man learns over time. TO is older and, I would argue more wise than he was. He will come to us and he will make that receiver corps-THE BEST in the league. How could any team realistically stop it, with Ced Ben and BScott and Leonard waiting in the wings? You also have to consider that TO was the only receiver worth covering in Buffalo, he wsa negated by every team they faced much like Chad last year. Its all about context, and in the Bengals context, TO would be mighty.

The Bengal’s coach won’t be able to handle T.O. along with Chad. Hope it works out and they get him cheaply. He may be able to help the younger receivers. Carson Palmer still needs to learn to throw the ball much more accurately for the Bengals to have a chance. He blows too many passes.

Good, this will be sweet to see Owens, Ochocinco and Bryant on the same field. Bryant is well underrated. I think Cin could use Owens and Bryant deep, with Ochocinco over the middle. This will also help open up the run game for Benson and Scott. Also this will help Carson in fantasy once again and make him a good sleeper QB to take.

Anyone who doesn’t see this as a nice pick-up for Cincy is dreaming. First of all, the Bengals will get him for next to nothing. He has a GREAT relationship with Carson (they have been throwing together in Cali all offseason) and Chad who are both leaders on the team. These are the facts, last year on the Bills T.O. had the likes of Ryan Fitzterrible and Trent Edwards throwing to him and he still had just as my TDs as Hines Ward, Percy Harvin, and Donald Driver. He was 26th in receptions among receivers, and 33rd in catches. He dropped a few balls, but Fitzgarbage overthrew and underthrew him constantly. The Bengals have nothing to lose in picking him up, but if he stays healthy and minds his P’s and Q’s (which he did in Buffalo) they stand to have one of, if not THE, best receiving corps in the league. Before you shoot it down tell me a team that’s better.
