Ravens sign second-round pick

The Ravens traded down from the 25th pick in the draft, opening the door for the Denver Broncos to get Tim Tebow in round one.

The move gave the Ravens two second-round picks. With the 11th pick in the round, the Ravens took linebacker Sergio Kindle. With the 25th pick in the round, the Ravens landed defensive tackle Terrence Cody, this year’s winner of the Alabama Man Boobs Award.

Unlike last year’s winner, Bengals tackle Andre Smith, who held out deep into training camp, Cody has agreed to terms, according to Aaron Wilson of the Carroll County Times.

Per Wilson, it’s a four-year deal with a maximum value of $3.384 million and $1.595 million guaranteed.

“I’m a big guy, but I can move around and do a lot of things,” Cody said during the offseason. per Wilson. “I pride myself on being an athlete. When I put my mind to it, nobody can stop me.”

He is expected to immediately enter the rotation at nose tackle, with veteran Kelly Gregg.
