Being told that “Hey, he can’t do that!” after Randy Moss wiped his ass with both Al Harris and the goal post and to “sit down, we’re trying to see if any of our Packers will confront Moss ” from morally outraged fans (is there even such a thing?) was even more worth it.
Almost drove off the road laughing about the fact that not a single cowardly, Packer dared say a word to Moss (not to his face anyway). Mike McCarthy was phoning Lance Armstrong to see if he would confront Moss because at least he had one ball – which is one ball more than the entire Packer organization.

I’m totally fine with Woodson, Tramon, Collins and Burnett. With Lee, Blackmon, Bell and Bigby providing the depth. Better than anyone in the NFC. I’d put the Jets and Bengals on the same level.

C’mon; you know exactly what I’m about to say.
Since when does not going to a Pro Bowl mean you didnt have a good or even great year?
London Fletcher and Greg Jennings have never been selected.
Each of those players- Atogwe, Lynch, and Wilson had significant impacts their first year, and those were just first to mind. I’m sure I could double the list with a little Google/ Wiki whack.
It’s just speculation as to whether Burnett’s going to light it up in 2010, so nothing to argue about-
but plenty of safeties picked in the 3rd round have done just fine as rooks.
(and yes, my gut sez Burnett is going to as well)

The fumble was bad. No doubt about that. But the man put up 400+ yards and 5 TDs. And the defense allowed 51 points. No two ways about it. The defense failed. Anytime you let a team north of 50, you can count on losing.

He will be great depth at back-up to either safety position but he’s overrated. He had a HUGE 2007. I’ll never forget the wild-card game where the Seattle receivers did their best Todd Stinkston impressions when they sensed Bigby in the area.
However, he has been bad the last two years. He has been hurt often and he’s a liability in pass-coverage when he’s on the field, and that’s not something our defense can afford, as shown by games against MIN, PIT, and ARZ last year. And half of his INTs have been a result of the ball finding him, as supposed to him making a sensationable play on the ball.
His agent should have his license revoked for allowing Bigby to sit out all this time and give Burnett a chance to prove himself.

the only 2 problems that i’ve noticed with the packers pass defense is that their front 7 seems to have problems pressuring the qb and their defensive backs have a hard time preventing completions, but other than that their pass d looks good. however, they did lose 2 starters from last year, kampman and jolly so there’s that to think about.
