I also have a reliable source inside the Vikings camp that says your source is cracked. I agree with everyone that thinks Sidney is a Jackass for passing on the knife. Looks like BB, Percy, and Visanthe will have to do for Brett this year.

The only excuse the Vikings need to hear is the lame ass one the medical staff and Rice’s handlers have for not getting surgery this winter. Like it’s going to get better as he gets bashed around the next 4 months? Maybe this will give the over-rated Pack defense and coach combover a chance to at least look competitive in a big game for a change.

too bad bigby failed his physical with what sounds like a really messed up ankle. sounds you’ll have a rookie starting at safety, yikes! that makes kampman your starting OLB and jolly your starting LE no longer with the team and bigby your starting safety out with injury – that’s all a defense that gave up over 50 points in the wildcard game needs!
i wouldn’t worry about sid rice he points out there’s no doubt he’ll be ready for the opener, i wouldn’t worry about favre either since he’s on the same timetable as last season when he finished 2nd in qb rating and 3rd in mvp voting.

I have a pretty reliable source from within the Vikings organization that told me Petersons little OTA absence, and Sidneys “hip injury” are a form of protest. This guy told me A LOT of the guys in the locker room are pissed off about the preferential treatment Lord BrInt gets from Chilly, they’re just not allowed to voice their concerns in public. A bunch of the guys were talking about skipping training camp too. Chilly needs to grow a pair, and get control of this team before it’s too late.

Ah, the first of many excuses for the Vikings when their season derails. Add in the BrINT showing up late to camp along with the ankle, Peterson’s unhappiness with Childress and Allen’s haircut and you get a full blown Schism.
But what is hard to reconcile is that Sidney Rice finally has a break out season after his first two years of underachievement with nagging injuries. You would think that he would approach this year by just getting the surgery but apparently Childress’s smirky attitude of “I’m a freaking genius” is contagious.

Yeah, rehab for a lingering indiscernible ailment just as training camp begins…that always works.
One of the routinely unoriginal Pervy “fluffers” on another post mentioned panic setting in. As the Viking chess pieces begin to tip over one after the other….after having their energy and expectations spent on one ill-timed and predictable pass at the last possible moment late in their all-in season-of-destiny, the taste of panic will become very familiar, very soon.

Oh Sidney, I think this is a bad decision. Two out of three recommending sx and you think just rehabbing it like an ordinary injury is going to make everything fine again? Your season may turn out to be just long, rather than superb and joyful, like it was last year. I so hope I’m wrong.
