Pat White arrives at training camp despite report

It’s not quite “Dewey defeats Truman” but the South Florida Sun-Sentinel hasn’t had a great morning.  (We’ve been there.)

Their morning edition reported that AWOL quarterback Pat White will miss all of training camp and possibly the entire season with a serious non-football related issue.

The only problem: White was back on the practice field Saturday morning after a mysterious one-day absence.  As David Neal of the Miami Herald put it, “Pat White present and overthrowing.”

There clearly is a lot more to the story here that we don’t know yet.  The Dolphins were reportedly expected to bring in AFL quarterback Tommy Grady for a tryout.

White’s future in Miami remains uncertain, but for the moment he’s just one of 80 Dolphins trying to get ready for the season.

According to my xbox franchise, Pat White gets cut by the dolphins, get’s signed by philadelphia, and leads them to 5 straight, and counting, super bowl championships, so….

Whew!!!!! Pat White’s in camp. That’s a relief. Now we’re guaranteed to win 5 games. And to think we would have only won 6 without him.

Hey, someone should let them know they have the opportunity to get a #1 draft pick in Jamarcus Russell. Apparently, Oakland couldn’t get his raw talent out of him. Maybe he’d be a good fill-in while Pat White is out…

And Parcells really knows what he’s doing (outside of orally gratifying the media)…

I suspect the Dolphins will try and make Pat White a receiver. Pat will not be an NFL QB. Arena football or the CFL may work for him.

    NYMets,
Your dreaming if you think the Dolphins are going 5-11 this year. What do you base that on, besides being a Jets fan and being dellusional. Can’t wait do see your over-rated, over-hyped Yets team fall flat on their face. I want to hear all the excuses after it happens.

Jetfans that are running your dumpsters about Parcells picks realize one thing. Tyler Thigpen and Chad Pennington are sitting behind Henne. Our Starter is better and our backups are better than your QB’s, so keep talking like we will have to rely on Pat White.

If the Jests win 7 it will be a miracle.

  25. KoaMisiFan says: Jul 31, 2010 3:33 PM

    Jests fans
Just curious. What is Revis going to do when the jests pay the rookie Wilson more than he’s making? Do you think he will really hold out then? Come to camp and cry like a baby and not give it 100%?

  26. tahjay says: Jul 31, 2010 4:44 PM

    KoaMisiFan
What happened last year when Revis DID give it 100% against those Dolphins – without Brandon Marshall? hehehehehe

  27. KoaMisiFan says: Jul 31, 2010 5:10 PM

    The jests lost…….TWICE

  29. KoaMisiFan says: Jul 31, 2010 6:17 PM

    @Jestman80
Please explain the “will continue their domination of the south Florida abomination”? Haven’t the jests lost the last THREE games to this same abomination? You call that domination? Oh, never mind. You’re a jest fan. My bad.
