Alualu agrees to terms with Jags

In late April, Tyson Alualu became a surprise choice of the Jaguars with the tenth overall pick in the draft. On the first day of August, Alualu is a big step closer to officially joining the team.

The Jags have announced that Alualu has agreed to terms, according to various media outlets reporting the fact of the announcement, which does not yet appear on the team’s website.

Alualu’s agreement leaves only three unsigned picks in the top ten: Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh (No. 2), Seahawks tackle Russell Okung (No. 6), and Bills running back C.J. Spiller (No. 9).

UPDATE: Vito Stellino of the Florida Times-Union reports that Alualu has yet to accept the team’s current offer. A league source has confirmed that, indeed, the deal is not done.
