I suppose you think Al Harris did a great job defending Plax, and that McCarthy did a great job making adjustments to stop him?
You’re right thought, the defensive performances were not similar. Against Arizona, it was a complete meltdown. But against NY, it was a case of an overwhelmed coach failing to make adjustments to cover a guy who torched the D for 140+ yards in the first half. But that’s Favre’s fault too, right? If he wasn’t such a diva, Harris wouldn’t have been such a terrible corner.
