I wouldn’t want to have the same argument either, not if I came off as clueless and dumb as you always end up.
I know you feel the Pack is “building,” but there comes a time when you need to stop building and start contending, most people would say a 13-3 season with an NFCC game appearance would be that point. But not Ted, that’s not part of his 37 year plan to building a championship team.

17-15 with no playoff wins is a travesty for a team who finished 13-3 and in the NFC Championship.
2 losing seasons in a 4 year span for a team who hadn’t had a losing season in 15 years is a travesty, as well.
Giving up 51 points in a playoff game, and not doing a single thing to address the defense in the offseason is a travesty.

Does anyone, anyone at all have even the slightest hard evidence (as in facts and not hilarious hearsay) that Brett actually said he is retiring? Did he call a press conference? Did he call Chilly personally? Did someone actually see a piece of paper or an email saying he is retiring? Did Brett or his agent call and ask for more money?
I thought so…
Florio (as a pseudo attorney) should know the difference between fact and hearsay, innuendo and speculation–obviously he likes the last three better than the first one.
Brett probably texed some of his teammates that he’s not sure he’ll be back, his ankle is not healing fast enough, etc. Other than that and that’s all we have right now; he’s said absolutely nothing else. He is not having a press conference and he’s doing what he’s been doing all summer–trying to heal, practice and assess if he’s going to be able to play another year. He’s always said that if he can’t give 100% he’s not going to play and I believe he truly means that.
Florio is the media-whore, racking up hits by putting one Favre story after another out.
Why don’t we all just chill and wait this one out–if he plays, great; if he doesn’t, I wish him well and life goes on…at least for some of us…

Indeed I have. He rid them of the Cancer named Brett Favre and has built them into one of the Super Bowl favorites this year by many NFL pundits. People more qualified than anyone on here to forecast. Now they could be wrong but it is more then coincidence that numerous publications have them predicted to be very good.
