Good Adam, good! At least when I backtrack on something, I admit to it.

You didn't backtrack. Your dramatic ass retired for less than 2 hours. As I said before, you've learned well from Favre in the 12 months you've idolized him.

First of all, scra-ub, so insulting, really, how clever.
Apparently you needed the heads up. You're the one who said "Take the turnovers away."

I get so sick of hearing people blame Ted Thompson for the Packers record since he's been GM. People are so ungrateful it makes me literally sick to my stomach. All Ted does is give and give and then give some more and his reward is to get flipped off by 5 year old kids and mocked for his sexual lifestyle. What do you people want from him??? How much is he supposed to take???
LEAVE HIM ALONE!!!!
-----------------
Just keep beating that drum, douchebag. Maybe some day Ted will return your calls and accept an invite to your weekly circle jerk party. For now, just keep spreading this filth to make you feel better.

Fourth, this was a stupid comment by Gregg Williams. Personally I like Drew Brees and I was angry when the Vikings didn't go for him earlier. I liked him in San Diego and I like him in New Orleans. However, a D-Coordiantor shouldn't be talking about the opposing QBs. Do you hear Leslie Frazier coming out and talking about how his Defense will "Send Messages?" No! The main difference is, Leslie is head-coaching material and Gregg is not. If I was an owner/GM, Gregg Williams would've blown his interview with my team right here. Sure, Rex Ryan was good in his first year, but let's see the Jets stumble, Rex's loudmouth will be tossed out of New York quick! Being a loudmouth just doesn't work in the NFL.

A few comments on the comments I read above.
Yes I was sick of hearing how the Saints rebuilt the city. Sure, it was great to see that Monday game when the Saints beat the Falcons. That was an amazing moment in sports. I didn't need to hear about it during the pre-game, in-game, and post-game. Due the fact that they mentioned it so many times, you do have to wonder if the NFL urged the refs to call or not call the penalties they did.
Second, The Vikings did come close, but they lost. It's something that has happened before to them and it will happen again. Turnovers killed the Vikings.
Third, when watching NFL Replay the other week and Mike Pereira has to explain almost every play in the 4th quarter, it gets ridiculous. In a game of that caliber you have that many explanations about how the Saints won the game, you have to wonder again why those calls were made/not-made.
Fourth, this was a stupid comment by Gregg Williams. Personally I like Drew Brees and I was angry when the Vikings didn't go for him earlier. Due the fact that they mentioned it so many times, you do have to wonder if the NFL urged the refs to call or not call the penalties they did.
Second, The Vikings did come close, but they lost. It’s something that has happened before to them and it will happen again.
Personally I like Drew Brees and I was angry when the Vikings didn’t go for him earlier. I liked him in San Diego and I like him in New Orleans. However, a D-Coordiantor shouldn’t be talking about the opposing QBs. Do you hear Leslie Frazier coming out and talking about how his Defense will “Send Messages?” No! The main difference is, Leslie is head-coaching material and Gregg is not. If I was an owner/GM, Gregg Williams would’ve blown his interview with my team right here. Sure, Rex Ryan was good in his first year, but let’s see the Jets stumble, Rex’s loudmouth will be tossed out of New York quick! Being a loudmouth just doesn’t work in the NFL.

purplepride5150, are you seriously that dumb? The league files a report after every game and notes the calls they got wrong. In the NFCCG there were 4 calls that were incorrect according the what I read on this website from Viking fans. None of those calls happened in OT. All of your what if scenarios are great but not realistic.
And Mrs teve, your panties are too tight. Did mommy check them when tucking you in last night?

I don't know what Williams is so proud of. In the Saints/Vikings playoff game, except for the turnovers the Saints were outplayed by the Vikings. Mr. Peterson needs to work on his fumbling, if the Vikings want to advance.
The champs have to play the Steelers this season. In fact, the Champs play the AFCN this season or the Ravens and Bengals . The Saints are going to get their lumps. The Steelers bring their own physical style to the game.
--------------------------------------------------
I guess the Steelers weren't physical enough last year.
That game is in New Orleans on Halloween...you have no shot, sorry.
GO STEELERS!

---------------- You can't take the turnovers away. They were part of the game. The Saints' defense forced four out of five of them. And the Saints actually only scored off of one turnover, so in your imaginary world where the Vikings win and never turn the ball over, the Saints would still have scored at least 21.
scra--ub,
turnovers are a part of the game? really? thanks for the heads up....I knew some dumb ass would feel the need to point the obvious out...but lets just say this...you better hope you get five more if you want any chance in the opener....another 12 men in the huddle penalty at the end of regulation will be needed too, throw in an overtime drive where your team actually makes only one play for 10 yards yet still finds itself in field goal range..i hope someone thanked the officials...but then again perhaps that might be just a little too much to ask after all the good fortune the Aints rec'd last season.
btw, reading williams comments reminds me why he isn't a head coach..usually coaches have to worry about their players saying stupid shit...unfortunately for the Saints they have to worry about their defensive coordinator...somebody tell me he was at least drunk we he opened his yap.
The funniest part about the whole thing is that run defense is soft as a babies bottom...comical.

"Then you are in here saying "look up the return yards". F'ing return yards? First off I didn't put all the stats up there in the first place. Second off averaging 30 yards on kickoffs is pretty much league average and hardly gamebreaking. Sure there was the OT return which was huge but it would have been nothing without being followed up by the most terrible string of bad calls I've ever seen."
...........Return yards was 200+ to about 40. Not sure why that doesn't seem important to you. Oh, because the Saints were better in it so you want to pretend it doesn't make a difference. Special teams DOES make a difference. Courtney Roby returned a kick-off for 61 yards in the 3rd quarter which led to a Saints touchdown. Sort of a big deal. And more than the 30-yard average you speak of.
------
"Seriously there were like 4 or 5 bad calls required for that final drive. It was insane. I guess the NFL wanted one for Katrina or whatever."
There were 3 calls looked at in the booth review, and all three were TOO CLOSE to overturn. If it had been as blatant to the refs as it was to the Vikings homers, they would have overturned them. Saying the NFL wanted one for Katrina just proves what a sorry loser you are.
------
"Oh well. If the Vikes can manhandle those chumps in the superdome again while avoiding crazy fumbles and officiating I'll be able to move on. But as long as idiot fans keep making stupid comments like the Aint's being anything BUT the luckiest NFC champ in the history of the game I'll continue to be angry with fans of the most illiterate state in America."
Like someone else said, your defense managed one sack which is hardly manhandling. Good luck having Brett Favre throw for 300+ again when he's coming off surgery and skipped training camp.
As for "luck" I'll say it again:
Saints had the #1 offense, the #1 quarterback, the #4 O-Line, the #6 rushing offense, #3 in turnovers created, won 13 games in a freaking ROW, and during the playoffs Brees threw 8 touchdowns, ZERO picks. It takes a lot more than LUCK to accomplish all of that.
And for the illiterate comment: Sando, you seem to be full of a lot of hate for a team and a city based on football. It's too bad, you should really think about if it's worth it to be so hateful over a GAME.

way to come in late kay bee- you should take some time and read what your fellow saints fans have been spewing and you might get why i said what i said- needless to say the saints fans won't be winning the sportsmanship award-LMAO
call me a loser, call me gay, call me whatever you want to- it just proves the point that new orleans fans are idiots
i hate the green bay packers but their fans (most of them) just dish some good natured trash talking- you morons take it to a whole new level- so when i take a shit and it enters the mississippi and it ends up flowing through your city i hope you choke on the smell-
by the way- even if the vikings dont win a game this year- i guarantee that the saints dont win a superbowl"

way to come in late kay bee- you should take some time and read what your fellow saints fans have been spewing and you might get why i said what i said- needless to say the saints fans won’t be winning the sportsmanship award-LMAO
call me a loser, call me gay, call me whatever you want to- it just proves the point that new orleans fans are idiots
i hate the green bay packers but their fans (most of them) just dish some good natured trash talking- you morons take it to a whole new level- so when i take a shit and it enters the mississippi and it ends up flowing through your city i hope you choke on the smell-
by the way- even if the vikings dont win a game this year- i guarantee that the saints dont win a superbowl”
—-
PurplePride, earlier you said that all this to you is just entertainment, but clearly not when you appear to take anything said to you ONLINE so personally.
“I hope you choke on the smell.” Real classy, you are no better than the people you are insulting.
