I can understand the hatred of the Bengals and Raven fans toward the steeler, being one the thousand of Texas fans who root for steelers, yes there are steeler fans who was born and raised in Cowboy and Texan territory. They have the largest fanbase of any team in the NFL, seeing how theres only one superbowl between the Bengals and Raven franchises like i stated before, i can uderstand their hatred. But@GBfanforever, get over that five hundred yard plus passing game and win that Big Ben and the steelers put your on your much improved packers defense late last year in the season.

Not amazing.
Only an infinitessimal amount of DNA is needed for identity testing–much more than would be found in a pindrop of semen. It’s impossible to have sex and not leave even a pindrop of semen, or a single pubic hair, fleck of skin, lick of saliva, etc. But none was found … which means no intercourse with anyone that evening.
Two flecks of male DNA (not semen or sperm) were found. Since they used the PCR testing method which can amplify the most miniscule samples for identity testing but they still couldn’t increase these samples to the necessary size, they had to be unbelievably small and degraded–which means they weren’t recent and probably were residue left after she’d showered.
The DA was asked at the press conference if she’d had sex with anyone else that day. He said he couldn’t violate her privacy by commenting.
See, there’s nothing amazing about it if you do your homework instead of just mouthing off.
BTW, the Nevada court has on file text messages sent by the plaintiff to friends in the days after the alleged rape in which she admits it was consensual sex.
Ben brought a lot of this on himself by using the judgment of a 13-year-old, but being an idiot doesn’t make him a sex offender.

The medical exam not only showed she didn’t have intercourse with anyone that evening, it also indicated she’d had sex with someone else earlier in the day. The DA was clear in saying this was alcohol-fueled drama and he hoped she and her sorority sisters learned their lesson. The Nevada woman texted admitting consensual sex, and Nev. cops say there’s no evidence a crime ever occurred.
So please drop the pretense about being a concerned daddy as though no one else here has beloved daughters or nieces. Ben’s an egotistical jackass, but the evidence in these cases is conclusive. You believe he’s a rapist because that’s what you’ve chosen to believe.

When the Commish handed down the suspension he stated that “a pattern of behavior” had been established…thus the 4-6 weeks.
If he wins the suit against the crazy broad from Nevada [who admitted in emails that the sex was consensual], does that break the “pattern of behavior,” leaving only the Georgia incident?
Then shouldn’t the suspension be reduced?
Or can’t we apply logic to NFL discipline any more?

The NFL should be ashamed for its embarrassing and discriminatory manner in which this story was handled. Anyone else notice how once the video tape of the lying slut was released, the media completely dropped coverage, as it was plainly obvious she was full of crap?
Pretty sad that Goodell was bullied into making BR take the fall for all white players, as the media was turning this nonstory into a racial one.

A 4-6 game suspension for Ben’s poor behavior… are you kidding me. It was never going to be a 6 game suspension, get real. Our “wonderful” commissioner made this proclamation so we would think he was coming down hard on Big Ben. It was always going to be 4 games and don’t be surprised if its reduced to less than 4 games because of Ben’s “goodell” behavior.
Rothlisberger should have been suspended the entire year, but Goodell couldn’t do that to his beloved Steelers. He knows that the Rooney family wouldn’t have taken to kindly to that long of a suspension. Mr. Goodell, I hope “your” Steelers go 0-16. Ben, I hope you get the help you need to turn your life around.

you just don’t get it. I never used to hate the steelers per se but it’s pretty obvious Big Tool has violated at least a couple women and gotten off scott free as it’s one of the hardest crimes to prove in a court of law, especially when the defendant is ultra rich and has law enforcement in his pocket. Now, as a father of a little girl I hate that guy more than anything and I hate steeler fans for defending him just because he plays football well. Had that happened to my daughter Big Tool would no longer be able to play pro football due to an unfortunate accident. Yeah, I think he’s a rapist and yeah, now I hate the steelers. Drop the pretense that since he never was convicted he never committed a crime. Those things are not mutually exclusive and even you are smart enough to figure that out. I hope this curses the steelers for 1000 years.

Although I’m not saying Ben is an angel, I am saying he did not commit a crime. And if being in an uncompromising position with a drunk girl is an NFL crime… then so is any athlete who scored with a drunk girl in a limo or hotel, paid for a little extra off of a stripper, texted a pic of his manhood, so on and so forth.
This is NOT ISLAM. We have laws. Goodell went above those laws and punished Ben for excessive drinking (not a crime) and providing drinks to underaged girls (who had fake IDs).
Yet so many athletes that did break laws, got a lesser, or ZERO suspension.
GODdell is walking a very slippery slope here. Maybe all of Wilt Chamberlains records should be erased because he drunkenly fornicated with over 10,000 women.
I believe drunken consentual sex to be fun.
The laws of Georgia and USA allow it.
GODdell need to get off his moral high horse.
It has been completely, totally, and undeniably proven that Ben did not rape DTF. Period. And even knowing that, GODdell still punished him because Ben “tarnished the shield”.
No Ben’s not an angel. He is a rich single man with 2 SB rings, and I don’t blame him for taking every advantage of the situation, if that’s what he enjoys. Saint Roger doesn’t agree.

I agree with both points.
I was stunned when VY didn’t get suspended when he was caught ON FILM assaulting someone and admitted that his only provocation was someone gave an upside down hook-em horns sign.
I don’t know enough about the Benson case but you would think he deserve some kind of suspension as a lifetime achievement award if nothing else.
If Goodell is really trying to send a message, he needs to be much more consistent in his decisions.
