Not here to argue who is better just add some perspective……..it’s hard to get serious stats like Rice, when you do not have Montana and Young throwing to you. Johnson had David Carr for four years, I don’t care how good you are, your not going to have Jerry Rice stats with Carr.

How can he be hands down the best when he’s never even caught double digit TDs?
Hands down means there’s no discussion between him and Fitz and there’s just no way that’s the case.

Yeah, except after 7 years of his career Rice had 1100 more yards, 51 more TD’s, and 3 more SB rings than Andre Johson has. Otherwise they are pretty much the same guy, right?

Not even close. How about putting up double digit TD’s ONCE first? In 7 years Johnson is about even with Rice’s 2nd and 3rd seasons. With almost 1600 yards each of the last 2 seasons, you’d think he would score more.

Just because he wears the number doesn’t mean the production will come. Besides this is coming from a Houston fan. The only thing that is proven is that you like the team.
