Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson has returned to the field six days after he was carted off the field with a back injury, but he’s remaining quiet about it.
Jackson has continued his mysterious media embargo, but Eagles fans won’t care as long as he produces. After injuring his back six days ago, Jackson reportedly looked good in his return to the field.
No one is exactly sure why Jackson isn’t talking, although he may be upset with how his comments following the Donovan McNabb trade were handled.
“I really have no idea,” quarterback Kevin Kolb said via Comcast Philadelphia. “I’ll leave it at that.”
The Eagles hope to get Jeremy Maclin and Mike Bell back on the field soon. Perhaps because of injuries, coach Andy Reid indicated the defense is ahead of the team’s offense thus far.
