At the beginning of this whole thing I was more in the Page camp. However, having read the comments of his agent, I’m beginning to switch.
First of all we have to take the agents comments with a grain of salt. They are going to be slanted in the favor of his client. I do marriage counseling and have learned you can NEVER draw conclusions off of one side of the story.
Do I believe Page was asked, encouraged, and pushed to play through an injury? Yes. but you can’t stop there. You have to ask why? Was he cleared by the medical staff to be able to play without causing further damage? Prior to that point, was Page viewed as dogging it in practice thus giving the perception he just didn’t want to dress for a preseason game? If he were able to play through the same injury 2 seasons ago (as the agent said, why not now?
Do I believe there have been trade offers for Page? Yes. But you can’t stop there. You have to ask what the offers were? Was it a 7th round pick? 6th round? Conditional 7th? If yes, why would the Chiefs jump on those offers? Holding on to Page right now does not hurt the Chiefs. He’s not counted against the roster, he’s not in the lockerroom being a cancer and he does not have a salary that has to be paid. If they don’t get a legitimate offer that will improve the team in the future, they can simply put him on the did not report list and make him sit for the year. Page has very little leverage.
That being said here is the leverage he has. SIGN THE TENDER!!! That will cause the Chiefs to HAVE to do something with him. They’d have to cut somebody else to keep him. Best case is they cut him 5 minutes after he signs. Worst case is they make him pass the conditioning test, work him like a dog through camp running with the 3rd and 4th team and then cut at the last cut. He doesn’t have another option. Signing the tender now does give him a deadline though.

Page is in the right: egoli & hailme aka 'the idots deux' ARE vindictive. Just like Bernard Pollard did in 2009 Jarrad will (hopefully) go elsewhere and rub KC's nose in it yet again. I can't wait till eg & ha suffer yet another season double-digit losses in 2010 & are yanked out KC by the neck.

Don't piss off Pioli.
Now you can just sit on the sidelines and not earn any money at all Mr. Page
The Chiefs are on the way back and do not want or need cancers like you on the team.
No, Pioli will not trade you. Now that your bro sent the email/demand letter to the media you will languish out of football until the Chiefs hold no more rights over you.
real smart move you and your bro made..............NOT!
