That’s a joke right? Cromartie did nothing but “have sex with willing partners.”? Who the hell do you think is paying for those kids he keeps producing? The willing partner? I kinda doubt it. I’m sure you can appreciate paying high taxes to take care of them, but not me. And, if you think Cromartie is you need to think again. Why did they have to pre-pay him? Oh yeah, so he could pay some child support. As for LT’s stupendous 70 yard TD? Is he so good that he can make your All-World defense look that bad? You jests fans are just way too funny.

NY media is loving Rex now, but when things start to go awry they’ll eat him alive! A lot of things can and will happen between now and January.
Team building is not a strong suit for the Jets. The FO went and got troubled big name players without taking care of the core members of the Team. LT is a prima donna “old” running back, Holmes couldn’t stay out of the lowlights in Pittsburgh and Cromartie, well there’s a guy who” can’t take care of his kids, not even liked by his own team-mates!” Now there’s discent among the nucleus of the team. Revis, Mangold etc…should’ve been taken care of 1st!
Woody and Tanabuam have no clue and the guy who suppossed to be the leader, just can’t seem to shut up. He’ll be himself? Head Coach, Head Cheerleader! Hope springs eternal in NY with the Jets, but watch out when a little adversity creeps in and the whole thing implodes from within..

Per Cromartie – his contract is up this year. He’ll want more money. We know this. Wilson is the heir apparent to the starting CB spot, with Cromartie working as a solid stopgap. This year, maybe a short term or franchise tag contract next year and then it’s Wilson’s. I’m sure glad to have him in the meantime.
All of our irresponsible hooligan players are really causing trouble aren’t they? You want to call the Jets a bunch of animals, you can. It’s not true. Cromartie never actually did anything wrong except have sex with willing partners. Holmes smoked weed. LT…just got cut. By the way, he caught a sideline pass from Sanchez last night over David Harris’ head and took it 70 yards to the house.
As long as Rex Ryan is there, he gets what he needs out of his players. Revis will be back when it counts and the Jets are extremely loud and brash – which makes for a lot of news for you guys to bash, and fun for me to see them back it up when we play your team.
Also, JESTS is old and not funny. It’s like DOLTfins…just silly and not funny. Come up with something new. It’s been a while

It’s obvious alot of you morons are anti-Jet. Its more than apparent that this team is a playoff team. Last year they were 9-7, and though they did back in the playoffs, they won 2 big playoff games on the road. All that, and they still improved themselves over the offseason. These guys are suppose to be professionals but yet rex finds it necessary to stroke their fragile egos each and every day……the rest of the league knows how “good” cromartie and the other jets players are and no matter what rex says it isn’t gonna change other teams opinions so the only motive can be that these “all pro players (in rex’s mind)” need to be tittie fed and stroked becuz their actions on the field aren’t producing the desired results. Even after rex’s ole’ man was proven wrong a couple dozen times he still flapped his jaws……and the apple hasn’t fallen far from the tree.

And by your really intelligent logic, the 2002 Lakers-Kings OBVIOUSLY wasnt rigged because the Kings won THREE playoff games in that series! Never mind the fact that an NBA ref admitted that the game was rigged. Ravens games can’t be rigged because they have won a game in their history! Let’s ask this: when is the last time the Steelers “beat”* the Ravens and there WASNT a controversy over the officiating? You’d have to go back to 2007! Rex Ryan is hilarious. This is the wrong ego to inflate, especially in a contract year. Just wait until Cromartie plays selfishly, makes costly mental errors, refuses to tackle anyone, and teammates start to hate him. Chargers beat writer Kevin Acee claims that he’s never seen a player so disliked by teammates in all his years covering the team, and they are so glad he is gone. Trust me, the Jets and their fans will get seduced by that athletic ability, then soon realize the guy is pretty much legally retarded and can’t be counted on.

Bah Floriho! I hate the Jets as much as the next educated guy, but this is BS. Rex is the anti-Reid. He really believes in the players he has and he wants them to know that. He wants them to know because these young boys need guidance or they end up on your turd watch. Of course, that’s what you’re banking on, isn’t it? I know this sounds crazy! BUT is it 100% completely out of the realm of possibility that the Jets would look to trade Revis? Now would obviously not be a good time, but their number 2 and 3 cornerbacks are new to the Jets (and their system), but are loaded with potential. If Cromartie picks up his game of a couple of years ago when he led the League in int’s, and 1st round pick Kyle Wilson comes in and shows that he can fulfill 1st round expectations, I think the Jets would be smart to at least see what they could get for Revis. I know he is a qb, but if Cutler is worth 2 1st rounders(+), what is Revis worth? A guy who just turned 25 and is almost unanimously recognized as the best cb (a premium position in the NFL) in the League. If Revis does decide to hold out in to the season, and gives Cro and Wilson a chance to play, and they ball out, his value to the Jets lessens dramatically. Under those circumstances, they could re-sign Cromartie at the end of this season to a much more team friendly deal, and collect a lot of high draft picks for Revis.
At the end of the day, I don’t think there are too many players out there that will actually sit out game time. I think the Jets will figure out a way to keep this guy. This was just a hypothetical. But if I were Tannenbaum, I would definitely not hesitate to kick the tires on his worth to other teams.
