Roll Tide!! In my opinion I think that Saban doesn’t even chance a kid making the wrong decision and getting tripped up by some agent/scout. I mean we are dealing with young kids here aren’t we? I think we’ll have plenty of NFL Teams wanting “our guys”! Just wait and see how they play this year guys. Roll Tide forever!!!

I dont like Saban, but I absolutely agree with limited access.
Trying a no access policy would be death on the recruiting trail, he is too smart to try that.
But I applaud him for making a statement. This isnt against the NFL, or even respectable agents…..this is about the slimeballs, which there are many of out there.
College kids dont have the maturity to deal with these types, they need to restrict access somehow. Good for Nick f0r trying to do so..

Yeah, and the tooth fairy is real too. If there’s a highly touted player on the Crimson Tide, I guarantee you that he’ll be drafted in the first or second round. Oh, and guess what, you don’t make the personnel decisions for the Steelers or any other team in the league. So, rant all you want, it doesn’t change a single thing. As for coaching in the NFL, why would Saban want to. The man pretty much owns the college scene, and college coaches can get paid as much as pro coaches.

Most of you guys are very petty and small minded people. Scouts are already banned from Alabama’s campus. Saban is trying to use the only leverage he has to get the NFL to help police the agents.
As for you whiny ass Dolphins fans grow the hell up. Saban said exactly what he should have said to be fair to his team. If he had come straight out and said he was leaving the team would have quit. Also Saban did not agree to come to Alabama until after the season was over.
As to the other mouth breather comparing NCAA coaches to agents; you really need to study the system better. Coaches recruit players by trying to sell the on the school and how it can give them a future. Agents try to buy players and generally do not care about any of these kids.
Saban is no saint, but he genuinely cares about his team. If you do not believe that just checkout his graduation rate.
