Feeley to start, Bradford to work with first team in Rams opener

Rams coach Steve Spagnuolo has maintained throughout the offseason that veteran A.J. Feeley — not first overall pick Sam Bradford — is his starting quarterback. But Spagnuolo plans to see both quarterbacks in action with the first-string offense on Saturday.

Spagnuolo said Bradford will “get some work with the ones, and then we’ll see where we’re at” in Saturday’s preseason game against the Vikings.

When Spagnuolo does see where they’re at, he’s no doubt hoping he’ll see that his No. 1 overall pick looks poised in his first live action against an NFL defense. If Bradford plays well, it’s highly likely that he’ll leapfrog Feeley on the depth chart at some point in the next month and start the regular season opener.

For now, though, Spagnuolo says he just wants to see both quarterbacks get some reps with the first offense in the first half.

“I’m not sure how long into that first half he’ll go,” Spagnuolo said. “We’ll just kind of play it by ear.”

He will go until the shoulder is broken again. Maybe 8 snaps unless he hands off.

His shoulder is fine…Im sick of everyone saying it isnt.
To everyone that isn’t smart the doctor that did the surgery is the same one who did surgery one brett farve right before he had arguably the best season of his career and oh yeah the super bowl mvp drew brees who has a smaller frame than bradford so he’ll be fine

Let’s be honest. Working with the ram’s ones would make anyone look bad
