its pretty sad that after signing cutler, bears fans got a qb that is better and will probally stastistically be better when he is done in chicago than any qb in their franchise’s history. you go through the list of starting qbs in chicago and it is absolutely pathetic. cutler is the new jeff george. if you look at cutler’s face he looks like a spoiled rotten child. for someone who has a cannon for a arm he doesn’t even look like a football player. he looks like he just got done doing 5 beer bongs at a frat party. i will enjoy watching “the pick machine” in chicago do his thing.

we all no he will throw pics. last yr he had a young reciever core and this yr he has the same reciever core so maybe it will be much better being that everyone is together again. we will see. hester will be good and again i want him on kick off return and punt return what he did to start the super bowl off was amazing. we need that again. its a game changer.

Favre threw a lot of INT. Maybe Cutler can turn things around and in a few year he can be good. Maybe not as good as Farve or Manning. And to be honest, all I really want is for him to be better than Orton, Greise, Grossman, Kodell stewart, Jim Miller, Shane Mathews, Erik Miller, Jim Harbaugh, Mike Tomzak (might have spelt that wrong) and Jim McMahon. Been a while since QB of note, Sid Luckman and George Blanda, most of us weeren’t even alive then.

this should bold well for a team that DOESNT have hakim, holt, bruce and faulk………
it also tells u that for all their greatness, they barely won 1st super bowl, and lost by a field goal in the second one….. oh and the fact that warner took about a 4 year sh&t before resurfacing with the cards….
cutler will produce yards and points but he already did…. he will also throw a ton of ints, because he already did…. this only gives him an excuse….

@megatron81- Peppers will make your pathetic O-line look like a bunch of 8th graders on opening day. Backus at LT, really? Pepp will send him into early retirement and put Stafford on his back faster than he can get the ball to your soft, overrated #1. On the contrary, your non-existent secondary (minus Delmas of course) will get torched by Knox and Hester on more than one occasion. I foresee a 44-17 beatdown.

Culter was over rated from the time he arrived in the NFL. Think about it for a minute, what franchise trades its QB after a couple of seasons? Denver had to know that this guy was a head case who would never show improvement so they cut a deal with the first organization that was willing to pay the high price.
Chicago is doomed until they find a real QB.

everyone knows there are going to be some bad passes, but the “some balls picked off” statement is hard to listen to when Cutler made it after he threw 26 interceptions last year!! Yes, a quarterback will have some interceptions, but you dont want him throwing 26 of them.

i got no problem with the comment , every qb says that, so for him to say it, with the int problems he had last year, it’s just something that’s expected that he of all people, would say.
i’ve hated the guy and thought of him as the billion dollar airport with the 10 cent control tower, but this is just typical qb speak

Don Coryell. It always comes back to him and always will. Gibbs, Zampese, Turner, Martz et al.
Whether Cutler is another Fouts / Aikman / Warner is unknown (yet). One more bust of a season won’t help him.
Jay, if you’re looking at this (!) read the coverage, think about the handoff…. and then then throw it.
