Giants wide receiver Steve Smith was supposed to be back at practice this week, but eight days after he suffered a groin injury, that still hasn’t happened.
Fortunately for the Giants, Smith is apparently not seriously hurt.
Smith told Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News he’ll “definitely” return to practice on Wednesday.
Smith, who emerged last season as the Giants’ No. 1 receiver and was selected to the Pro Bowl, will miss Monday night’s preseason game against the Jets.
