Marc Colombo will only miss 2-4 weeks

The Cowboys got some good news via the MRI machine on Sunday evening.

Starting right tackle Marc Colombo, who was initially feared to have suffered a serious knee injury, will miss only two-to-four weeks, according to Calvin Watkins of ESPNDallas.com.

Per Watkins, Colombo needs surgery — it presumably will be arthroscopic.

  1. This guy has had way too many injuries…….I dont think he has fully recover from last yrs broken leg……If Dallas doesnt add another proven offensive Tackle it could be a long season .

  2. arthroscopic surgery is a technique and not a certain procedure. doctors can replace acl’s arthroscopically. for arthroscopy you make smaller incisions than with a scalpel and opening up the knee (for an acl). in one of the incisions the dr inserts a camera so they can see what they are doing while working away inside. 2-4 weeks for a knee sounds like its a meniscus.
