Eli Manning after bloody play: "I feel fine. I feel normal."

Eli Manning gave the opening football night of the New Meadowlands a play to remember it by, which isn’t easy to do in the preseason.

Luckily for Eli, the only lasting repercussion will be a scar.

“I feel fine. I feel normal,” Manning told the Giants’ website. “The play was my fault. We had a run play with an option to throw a fade that I thought I might try, but Brandon was coming right up the middle. Sometimes you make a mistake and you get hit in the head. It’s preseason.

“You learn from it. I’ll be back as soon as I can. It’s really not an injury. Nothing serious. I really feel like I could go back out and play right now if I had to.”

We’re really looking forward to the back pages of the tabloids on Tuesday.  Headline suggestions, anyone?

As normal as any superhuman with perfect football DNA would feel. I am just so glad the Jets went DOWN!

Cruz’s performance lends resonance to Coughlin’s comment the day a week ago, which went something like “What do we need those other guys for? We’ve got Cruz.”
    TC has been proved clairvoyant.

By superhuman w/ perfect Football DNA you mean a retard correct. Have you seen Eli Manning? Pretty sure the short bus drops him off at the stadium.

Funny, then why was it 10-10 and why after two series of jets 1st going against Giants 2nd were the jets only able to get a 1 field goal? This is why the jets will NEVER be NY’s team – the ignorant trailer trash the jets call fans are basically the domestic help of the Giants fans. The only reason the jets exist is so the Giants fans don’t have to see their gardener or garbage-men at the games. 7 Championships > 1. Giants won the Super Bowl in the 80s, 90s, and 00s. Jets haven’t even been in the Super Bowl since the 60s. 41 years and counting, losers. But, please, keep yapping. It’s all you’ve got.

in the preseason its how your 1st team performs, and it was clear the jets 1st team outplayed the giants 1st team….see the jets week 17 when we are resting players for the playoffs and the giants are still wondering if they are NY’s team…hahahahahahah a lmao…woooooooooooo ooooooooooooooo
    ——————————————————
Your D beat a Giants O-Line with 2 starters & a 4th string TE. No Steve Smith as well. Your O couldn’t move the ball in the red zone at all, and not an inch against the Giants 2nd D. The final was 31-16. Players play to win & the Giants have more depth & better coaching. You got beat, face it. Or is this going to be another season of excuses for every loss?

Now now east96street. If you’re going to make a point, be complete about it. You forgot to mention how the Giants had 12 players out — including most of their TEs.

It was great seeing the mildly retarded Manning bleeding from that movie screen he calls a forehead.
