Super Bowl for GB within 2 years.
_______________
What happened, losing hope already. You had them in the Super Bowl last year, then predicted it for them this year. Now you're saying within 2 years? You really starting to but into TT's 30 year plan, aren't you?
----------------
never had them in the Super Bowl and have said all summer they will win it all this year or next. Most likely next after a deep run this year. If they get the breaks????? Then who knows it could be this year.

Whig,
Again, I didn't fall off the boat yesterday. You have made up stories about your life and who you know and websites that are going to be funded for you. You wish you were black. All of this, all of the lies, made up personal things reeks of a man (sorta) that lives in fantasy land. One that wishes he was someone else. We have a guy here locally that lies about his life so much he believes himself. he claims to have been on National Championship NCAA teams, to have 4 million in the bank (yet works as a laborer) Try the game 2nd life. You would enjoy it. And you can have another regular season sweep because we all know what will happen in the playoffs. Super Bowl for GB within 2 years.

I'm so excited!!!
I can't wait for BrINT to set more NFL records this season....he can add to these:
Continuous games by QB...
Yards Passing...
TD's...
Let's not forget he's also the leader in these fine categories:
Interceptions...(317)
Career Playoff INT's...(30)
Career Playoff losses...(11)
He's second in Career passing TD's by one to Joe Montana....I'm going out on a limb and saying he doesn't beat that one.
And this little tidbit. Favre is the only known player to be a grandfather while active in the NFL.
Good luck with this old bag, Twinkies. Which 3 players are going to take turns giving the old fart a spongebath...?

I dunno, man... A 41 year old with a bum ankle who took the majority of preseason off is going to try to go the distance one last time?
I have a really bad feeling about this decision. Hopefully, the worst injury he'll suffer this season is a blow to his pride when he serves up one final season-ending pick. Unfortunately, I think he'll be leaving the league on a stretcher by midseason. Despite his media-whoring drama, I really would hate to see that happen.

Looking in your eyes I see a paradise
This world that I found is too good to be true
Standing here beside you, want so much to give you
This love in my heart that I'm feeling for you
Let 'em say we're crazy, don't care 'bout that
Put your hand in my hand baby, don't ever look back
Let the world around us just fall apart
Baby, we can make it if we're heart to heart
And we can build this dream together, standing strong forever
Nothing's gonna stop us now
And if this world runs out of lovers, we'll still have each other
Nothing's gonna stop us, nothing's gonna stop us now

Take it to the good times, see it through the bad times

Hey baby
And we can build this dream together, standing strong forever
Nothing’s gonna stop us now
And if this world runs out of lovers, we’ll still have each other
Nothing’s gonna stop us, nothing’s gonna stop us now

Hey Packer fags he came back. How could this be you said he was going to let us down at the last second. Thats right the Packer fags also said they were going to beat Brett last year and show him. I guess when football is all you have in GB and you live your lives through the players I can understand.

PFT, CNNSI, ESPN, and FOX SPORTS should all be thanking Favre! Did anyone else watch the coverage on ESPN, listen to sports radio, or go to any of the above websites today? Favre is the reason. NFL Live's tape got thrown out and they actually had to go live. Favre coming back ruined ESPN's day of television and they probably got the highest ratings since 2 weeks ago when Favre "sent" the text message. One thing the NFL is about above anything else is money! Favre is money. Pure and Simple. He does what he does without really caring about what anyone else thinks and everyone bites on every word. Personally I think it's awesome!
Now he comes back and does what he does best. Did anyone think the NFC Championship game last year was better than the Super Bowl? I sure did. Even though I love the Vikings and I know the heartbreak I had when they lost, I still watched NFL replay. The Packers/Vikings games were both great!
Regardless of anyone's opinion of Favre, everyone will watch him play whenever they get the chance and why not? You never know what you are going to get. A 49ers game last season that in usual cases I would've switched off, I kept watching because of Favre.
I am excited to have him playing for the Vikings for one more season. 10-6, 16-0, it doesn't matter. He tore us up for years and every time we played the Packers with Favre as QB I would automatically check it as a loss. A-Rod, Cutler, Stafford, Manning, and Brady don't put that fear in Vikings fans. If he would play for the Vikings until he's 50, I wouldn't care. You take the good with the bad and if he does eventually retire, he gave us one phenominal season. So while I don't speak for every Vikings fan, I do speak for a lot of us. We are glad to have Favre back under center!

are you talking about last season?? that was rodgers 5th season. this year is his 6th season. and how was last year, rodgers 5th season, "as Lord Favres best"?
------------------------------
I thought the 2nd year as a starter wouldn't have to be stated, but just to clarify, HIS SECOND YEAR PLAYING.
And statistically,
Aaron Rodgers - 350/541 (64.7%), 4,434 Yards (277avg), 30 TD's, 7 Ints. Not to mention 5 rushing touchdowns, 316 yards, and a rating of 103.2. (Again, his fifth year in the league, second year playing, and he got sacked 50 times).
Brett Favre - 363/531 (68.4%), 4202 Yards (262.6avg), 33 TD's, 7 Int's. 7 rushing yards, 0 touchdowns, and a rating of 107.2.

So, in closing, Rodgers, a 26 year old qb who is already one of the best in the league, had a season very statistically similar to the 40 year old who maybe has this year left.
Yea, i'd rather take Rodgers any day.

Stop hatin' Puker/other NFL fans. I know you must be sick of hearing this Favre stuff, but honestly, nobody is making you click on this post and read/comment on this article. Haha it's funny how Puker fans are so upset about Favre returning and think that they will destroy Favre this year. It didn't happen last year so why would it happen this year? Can you possibly name one player that you added that wasn't on your roster last year that will make that big of an impact this year? NO. Puker fans say this every year, "We're going to win the division this year," but you get humiliated every year and it hasn't happened the last 3 years. Honestly, stop getting your hopes up because your whole team isn't as good as you think it is. Most of you Puker fans would get on your knees for Rodgers, but in reality, he can't get a result in big games. 2 games against the Vikings last year- lost both, playoff game- lost off fumble. Oh what do you know, holding on to the ball too long. Oh yeah and your offensive line just gets older and older every year and you haven't made any improvements to it. No Bulaga isn't a huge upgrade.
And to the people who wish Favre gets hurt this season, get a life and grow up. Honestly, most of you people on this website are really sourpusses.

Some people clearly see only what they want to see. They are totally divorced from reality. Like those who hate Favre so much, and keep repeating over-and-over how Favre lost the Saints game. No, he didn't. He played a good game, much better than Brees. He had 310 yards, and 2 int's. But the first int was CLEARLY an illegal hit as Favre was throwing. How was his ankle the size of a grapefruit if the hit wasn't low? Even Gregg Williams admitted it was an illegal cheap-shot. The Vikings should have had a 1st down at the Saints 20. The 2nd pick should NOT have been the Vikings last possession. The refs made 5 bad calls, 4 of which were absolutely terrible calls (1 non-call), all in the overtime period. THE REFS MADE SURE Favre didn't get the ball again. If not for Katrina Payback, then what? Watch the overtime again if you don't believe me. Of course the Favre haters won't do that, I guarantee it.

Rodgers wins with that great White led '96 defense too. Something the apologists always seem to forget.
