A.J. Feeley will get another start

The Sam Bradford era will have to wait at least another week.

Rams coach Steve Spagnuolo confirmed that A.J. Feeley will start again for the Rams during this week’s preseason game against the Browns.

“I’d like to get [Sam] a few more plays, but you’ll probably see pretty much the
same as you did in the last game,” Spagnuolo said.

The Rams’ Week 1 starting quarterback will essentially be decided on Saturday. The Rams will want to bump up Bradford by the third “dress rehearsal” preseason game if he’s going to be the guy in Week 1.

Bradford needs to play well, and the Rams offensive line needs to protect better before Spagnuolo trusts the No. 1 overall pick is ready.

How stupid. Regardless of whether he is ready or not, everyone knows who the starter in week 1 will be. All Spagnulo is doing is hampering Bradford’s development by not getting him any reps against another team’s first string defense.

disagree, Bradford will be a good quarterback if he starts week one, or week 12 or next year, my worry isnt Bradford, it’s his offensive line, especially at right tackle, Jason Smith NEEDS to play like a number 2 overall pick.
