Last week, the Dolphins started their preseason game in a driving rainstorm that made their homefield a mess.
On Saturday night, they won’t even start on time because of rain on the road in Jacksonville. The Jaguars-Dolphins have been in a weather delay because of lightning since 7:30.
It looks like the game will get started around 8:45, according to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.
UPDATE: It’s 8:45, and the teams don’t seem any closer to hitting the field. A cancellation reportedly is not out of the question.
UPDATE II: Ten minutes later, the players are on the field! Fans are being allowed back to their seats at Everbank Stadium. Kickoff looks like it will be around 9:30 after a two hour delay.
