Multiple former NFL players join the UFL

In recent weeks, former NFL quarterbacks like Daunte Culpepper and Jeff Garcia have made news as additions to UFL rosters.

On Saturday morning, the UFL announced the addition of several players with NFL experience to a pair of the UFL’s teams.

The following list isn’t exclusive.  (In other words, we may have left out some former NFL players of whom we’d never heard or of whom we’d forgotten.)

The Florida Tuskers have added cornerback Fakhir Brown.  The Omaha Nighthawks have added defensive back Ricardo Colclough, linebacker Angelo Crowell, defensive tackle Dusty Dvoracek, receiver Robert Ferguson, tackle George Foster, linebacker Marlon Greenwood, receiver David Kircus, guard Fred Matua, quarterback D.J. Shockley, linebacker Gary Stills, defensive tackle Hollis Thomas, receiver Craphonso Thorpe, and cornerback DeJuan Tribble.

The UFL is supposed to be an NFL feeder league. Not an NFL retirement league.

Craphonso. No, that is real. How available is the UFL for viewing. I figure if there is a lockout or whatever, the networks will grab some UFL games to show, but how do I get a peek now?

Colclough better hope the UFL has a rule that says if you try to catch a punt with your facemask, the ball is automatically blown dead.

Crowell was a pretty good player up until the knee injury.

I remember back when PFT would post articles about “Crap”Honso back in the day just to laugh at his name.
WR Craphonso Thorpe is hoping to make the Colts’ roster. (And hoping people will stop snickering about the first four letters of his name.)
    (Back in August 07)
They use to poke jokes at his name every time they could lol.
