Childress is a stupid Ned Flanders of a coach. He cant inspire men, get real. The best this guy could do is make anyone who looks like an accountant think he could coach in the NFL also. This year is NOT going to work out for him like last year. There is no powder puff schedule this time out. He is the WORST coach in the entire history of this team, bar none. He needs to be gone!

Last year, the NFL did everything they could to get old father time into the superbowl, b/c they desperately wanted a Farve – Manning matchup. Even before the season began, the NFC North had a cupcake of schedule and made sure the Vikes didn’t play outdoors in bad weather late in the year. Conspiracy? Probably.
But he had his chance before the Saints beat the crap out of him and he threw the game away with yet ANOTHER terrible pic in the closing moments of the NFCCG in the Superdome.
Now this year, the NFC North has to play the NFC east, and won’t protect Farve so much. That alone is worth another 2 – 3 losses. Add another year older at his age and it’s another 1-2 losses, plus team discenssion & injuries should account for 1 -2 more losses. Next thing you know, the Vikes will be lucky to have a winning season.

Last night watching the game was a little over board. All the ass kissing for Favre. First had to mute the tv then shut it off. How long do they have to talk about this cry baby. Did you hear his interview almost was crying Why can’t he talk like a man. Because you have to be a man to talk like one..Please put him on the ground.

Trash Klink all you want for his conservative offense or his wierd behavior in the first couple years, as it’s all deserved. However, his win total, play calling and behavior have all improved pretty frigging significantly since then. More important, there was a great newspaper article in Sunday’s Strib showing Klink’s roster development over the last 4 years, and the increase in quality and depth of that roster is huge. So let all the cheesers trash Klink and praise McLardy even if he’s failed to beat him out for the last two NFCN titles. But hey McCarthy sure can fire janitors and develop an O-line with two geriatric OTs with the best of them.

In May, Childress should have said “We don’t want favre in camp until after the 2nd preseason game. We want him to rehab train in MS so he’s mentally and physically ready. As the head coach, I feel that’s what is the best interest of the team.”
And then favre would have likely shown up for camp, day 1.
