Harris out for a bit but we have Tramon Williams so were good there
Hawk needs to play better. Period. Or ship him
Tauscher and Clifton are fine tackles and we have a good one that The Steady One drafted
Driver and Woodson have shown no signs of slowing down. Both are more then 5 years younger then favre. And they are in better condition then Favre
TT is our Gm. EXACTLY!!!!

Williams has proven about as much as Asher Allen has. Looking for a little consistency.....
Anybody who needs to "...play better. Period. Or ship him..." on the Vikings roster causes you to call doom and gloom on the entire season. Looking for a little consistency....
Tauscher and Clifton are fine tackles...when healthy. If a Vikings player had the kind of health problems that they have had recently and were in their mid-30s, you'd be predicting them to be hurt by week 6 and doom and gloom on the season. Looking for a little consistency....
The only other 3 OTs drafted in the first round by the Packers in the last 50 years were John Michels, Tony M, and Mark Koncar. Before you jump on the different Gm and staff and all that, ask yourself honestly if that would matter if we were talking about the Vikings. Just looking for a little consistency....
Driver has actually steadily decreased in receptions each of the last 3 years (92, 82, 74, 70) and Woodson had career highs in INTs and TDs, and second highest posting in tackles and passes defensed, a season not likely to be duplicated. Should we then assume that, based on your defense of these two players, that Hutch, Pat, and Winfield will be their old PB selves this year? Just looking for a little consistency....
And you forgot to mention the problem area between your tackles, which has been a problem for years. And before you say that they are good and aren't a problem, ask yourself.... Considering the age and health problems mentioned earlier, why would the heir apparent be asked to move inside instead of focusing on the position where he may be needed as early as this year?
And if the Vikings projected #3 and #4 WRs had COMBINED for 107 rec, 1400 yds and 10 TDs in the last 2 years (or an average of 27, 350, and 2.5 per player per year), what would you say?
And if the Vikings had the kind of legal/injury/1st rd bust issues that the Packers current group did, what would be said about that?
Just looking for a little consistency here......

Williams was part of that vaunted bunch that gave up over 500 yards to the Cards in the WC game.
Hawk hasn't been any good since he got there. He should have been gone already.
Your 2 tackles are beyond fragile, and need Bulaga start at LT, well rookies ALWAYS work out well at that position......not.
Driver is ancient for the WR position, you know this. No one behind him to step up either, unless 20 and 30 catches is what you are looking for...
Woodson- yes, great last year. With Harris out, they just won't throw to his area ala Arizona.
34-35 year old Corners are not what you exactly want. Just tell yourself it's all going to be ok.
TT is your GM exactly! Thank god, This nit wit is your problem.

I see that not a single Packer fan has risen to my challenge. Not a single trash-talking homer in green and gold has the balls to admit that his team has faults. They are more than willing to amplify faults on the Vikings team to the point of being ridiculous, but can't find a single thing wrong with the team they watch every week.

" Answer how it is soooo different with the Pack."
----
easy. Childress WILL lose that locker room. probably this year. You cannot behave like that as a head coach at any level.
==========================
Lame attempt.
You know nothing about coaching except for running a beer league softball team.
which is basically filling out a line-up.
Another post of conjecture from the king of it:

losing in the first round is hardly satisfying. But I understand the method of team building they are doing in Green Bay. They will win it all in one of the next two seasons. ========================
so the vikes losing in the WC in 08 and foloowing that up with losing in the NFCCG isn't team building? That's 1 shot? That they are mentioned in the top 4 teams this year also is mortgaging the future?
Your argument has been batted down so many times, by both packer and Vikings fans.
How are the steps the Vikings have taken in the last 2 years any different than what you proclaim the packers are doing?
Funny, Minnesota has actually taken a next step.
You are PREDICTING the pack takes that step, but you don't know.
It's just your typical double standard homerism shining loudl and brightly...as always.
Vikings haven't mortgaged annything. They have 1 of the bst capologists in the game. They are set up to be playoff caliber for the foreseeable future.
Vikes have improved yearly by 2 games, they are taking steps. Answer how it is soooo different with the Pack.

You are PREDICTING the pack takes that step, but you don’t know.
It’s just your typical double standard homerism shining loudl and brightly…as always.
Vikings haven’t mortgaged annything. They have 1 of the bst capologists in the game. They are set up to be playoff caliber for the foreseeable future.
Vikes have improved yearly by 2 games, they are taking steps. Answer how it is soooo different with the Pack.
You can’t.

No, it isn't. It's WC game loss football.
You know, where you give up 51! points on defense? Where your defensive co ordinator is on a Jim Beam induced nap, while said defense is getting thrashed?
TT and by extension, fans like you are satisfied with this caliber of football, why should he change anything?
Now here comes your post where they win it all 2 out of the next 3 years.

Come on. Do that that little thing where you re -arrange words in my post. That is so utterly brilliant!!

All I can say is this. The two biggest idiots on this site....Missus Humble and Gravy are absolutely staggering, punch-drunk and petrified about the fact that their favorite club's roster has been decimated with injuries and money/ego squabbles. They are as big of losers as their hero.....Mr. Favre. The only sad thing is.....they are even dumber than he is.
_____________________
Gravy is actually a Packer fan in disguise. You all know him, he posts under about five names here.
I should think that would be obvious, given his disdain for Ted. Come on man, Viking fans LOVE Ted! After all, where would their team be without him? Certainly not holding the division titles they still think have some sort of relevance or meaning (hilarious).
Ted has worked wonders for the Viking franchise. Their fans would never say anything bad about him. PACKER fans are the ones that hate Ted.
Gravy is like that "Bring Back Culpepper" guy that was on here last season. He just poses as a Viking fan, and then makes the most ignorant statements possible so as to give the rest of the purple faithful a bad name. As you can see, it works pretty well too.
The REAL joke here, however, is on Contra and Pervy for actually taking the Gravy facade seriously and agreeing with all of the deliberately ignorant statements. Of course, nearly every joke in these threads is at Pervy's expense, but I still get a kick out of that particular one every time.

I really don't get some of you. Does it somehow enrich your life to rag on an opposing team, calling doom over every negative post and blindly refuting anything positive? Does it make you feel better about yourself to think that the Vikings might not have a good year? If it does, then you seriously need to take stock in your lives and identify the deficiencies in yourself that lead you to such irrational behavior.
Do you really want to know what Vikings fans think?
We hope that Berrian can step up in the absence of Rice and possibly Harvin, which we have seen coming for some time now. Nothing new.
We hope someone can step up at safety and protect these young corners who are going to need to step up and turn promise into production.
We hope that there is still some of that magic that turned Lowdermilk, Christy, and Birk into PBers leftover for Sullivan...he needs it.
We hope that Peterson will stop fighting for that extra yard he doesn't need when he gets stopped and stood up, so maybe the third and fourth guy there won't have the chance to strip him. It's such a curse to have a RB that doesn't go down on the first hit.....
And we hope that Favre can remain standing and not make that last stupid mistake. It's a chance we take, because whatever you want to say about the guy, you know that when the game is on the line, everyone in the huddle believes he will find a way to pull it out. And THAT is the mark of a great QB.... A quality we have respected and dreaded from him for over the years, because it was so often turned on us.
Now I dare any of you pathetic yappers (I exclude the few who have proven to be objective and honest about both sides) to list the shortcomings and concerns on your own team. If you don't see any, than you really have nothing worthwhile to say.
(PS, if you believe that a 41-yo QB can't repeat a career season, what makes you think a 35-yo CB can? Just asking.....)

I really don’t get some of you.
We hope that there is still some of that magic that turned Lowdermilk, Christy, and Birk into PBers leftover for Sullivan…he needs it.
We hope that Peterson will stop fighting for that extra yard he doesn’t need when he gets stopped and stood up, so maybe the third and fourth guy there won’t have the chance to strip him. It’s such a curse to have a RB that doesn’t go down on the first hit…..
And we hope that Favre can remain standing and not make that last stupid mistake. It’s a chance we take, because whatever you want to say about the guy, you know that when the game is on the line, everyone in the huddle believes he will find a way to pull it out.
Sterling Sharpe was by far the best wide receiver Brett Favre ever played with. Wasn't a huge Sharpe fan but I do believe the guy would be in Canton had he had more than a 7 year career.
And Robert Brooks 1995 season was 1 of the best ever, I would take that season over Sidney Rice's 2009.

What recievers that Brett has played with will make it to Canton?
When looking at Vikes turned stars by Favre look at Shiancoe; as well as Rice.
Bret makes recievers and coaches.
Doubters can take a look at the Packers coaching staff from 92' to 96' and see that many a NFL coaches as well as recievers gained glory from under the wings (or spittle) of Favre.
