Finance Committee supports Stan Kroenke as Rams owner

Stan Kroenke has taken another big step toward being approved as the next owner of the St. Louis Rams.

Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that the NFL’s finance committee has unanimously recommended approval of Kroenke’s bid.

That makes it likely that the league’s owners will vote tomorrow to make Kroenke the Rams’ new owner.

Kroenke currently owns 40 percent of the Rams and is looking to buy the 60 percent owned by Chip Rosenbloom and Lucia Rodriguez, the children of the late Georgia Frontiere.

Duh. As if the issue would ever come to a vote without the full knowledge beforehand that it would be unanimously approved.
