Texans tight end Owen Daniels had his surgically repaired knee examined by team doctors today and said he was told the news is good.
“Scan and MRI say I’m 100%,” Owens wrote in a text message to Fox 26.
On Wednesday Daniels will travel to Alabama to get a second opinion from Dr. James Andrews, who performed the surgery on Daniels’ torn ACL.
Daniels suffered the injury in the eighth game of the 2009 season. Prior to the injury he had 40 catches for 519 yards, a 13.0-yard average and five touchdowns — putting him on pace for career highs in every statistical category.

Can’t wait to see him back on the field and add to Schaub’s arsenal. If Arian Foster puts up at least mediocre stats for the Texans’ running game, Houston will be unstoppable on offense. Now to get a secondary…
Club officials were happy that Owen’s knee has returned to “100%”, but a bit disappointed that the joint wasn’t “stronger than it ever was” as is usually the case following major surgery.

Bullet: Unstoppable you say? I doubt that.
Losses against the Titans and Colts will put you in a big hole. Titans will win the AFC South like in 2008.

….at Buffalo while planting/making a cut executing a route. Totally non-contact, similar to Wes Welker, except that Welker’s was after a catch and he planted to avoid an oncoming tackler. (it wasn’t the turf Belicheat — these things can happen)
Ummm… an MRI isn’t going to tell the strength of a replacement ligament.
