The Cardinals played the Titans on Monday night. And the Cardinals have stayed in Tennessee for post-game joint practices with the Titans.
Supposedly, some extra-curricular activities also were planned.
Titans running back Chris Johnson told Terry McCormick of TitanInsider.com that the 2009 Associated Press offensive player of the year planned to race Cardinals cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie at LP Field at 8:00 p.m. local time tonight.
“We’ve got a race tonight at LP Field,” Johnson told McCormick. “Everybody is welcome. 100 yards.”
Johnson predicted he’d win. “I’ve already beat him before,” Johnson said. “We worked out together for the draft when we were coming out.”
It’s not known whether the race actually occurred. We’ve got a feeling that it didn’t — especially if Titans coach Jeff Fisher caught wind of it.
Loser pays winners child support?
Wouldnt it be funny if these two idiots got hurt while performing stupid human tricks?
I really like DRC
Johnson ran a 4.24 at the combine, just faster than DRC’s 4.29, both are fast as hell though. I’d favor johnson, but i hope it didn’t happen cause i don’t want DRC to get hurt.
You would think Chris Johnson would have stopped talking about racing other athletes after Desean Jackson blew past him on Shaq Vs.
I will say CJ is one of the fastest guys out of the gate which is why he ran such a fast 40 yard dash its also what makes him such a great rb but he doesnt match Jackson in top end speed.
c johnson is a good player but dumb as h-ll, he did the same thing last summer with ginn, if he tears an acl out for a while, dumb
Johnson won because he was carrying an easier name.
Here’s to both of them doing nothing
Dude should be thinking about football, not track & field. What a turd.
Just run for another 2,000 plus yards please. That’s all!
But could either of them find all 50 states on a map if you spotted them 48?
CJ can talk race all he wants… as long as he realizes he’s the SECOND fastest in the league
Shaq Vs(yea its a horrible show) by Djax killed him… funny how he doesn’t bring that up…
