As a Bengals fan it does seem like Florio Hates Cincy. Our posts are just speculations but the players deal with the ramifications in their contracts. Why try to stir up a deal that has yet to go sour?
Mike Brown tends to get attracted to certain guys (ala Jerry Jones) and he pays them well so that they produce. Nothing wrong with that.
I became a Bengals fan for three reasons: Marvin Lewis, Ocho, and HATERS.
So g'head Florio hate on Cincy...Who DEy Love!

Add this to the long list of reasons Bengals fans love Mike Brown. Just an opinion but I’m pretty sure Andre Smith pulled the exact same “jedi mind trick” on old Mikey Boy that AB has. Same situation, guy participates in one practice then collects the paycheck while rehabing an injury that didn’t happen in a Bengals uniform.. and the Brown family can’t figure out why they can’t sell games out anymore… I love the Bengals but am SO TIRED of the amatures at the top!!!

Fat_Old_Sun: Bengals are pot committed at this point. They've already invested well over double that amount already, and he's signed for three more years after this one. The smart gamble is to keep him, if he can play this year or next, especially at a high level, then they've won. If he can't go next training camp/OTA's, then you cut him (provided there's a season).

Of course it's possible that the Bengals would simply cut Bryant and eat the money they paid him without even trying to reach an injury settlement.
Wait, so you're telling me it's possible they could get money back from Bryant? I figured he gets the money paid plus a settlement for this year's salary. If I were Bryant I wouldn't give them a penny and I'd try to sign with an AFC North team once I was healthy and try to burn them.

"That's the problem with Bryant's situation: Everything seemingly remains possible regarding his future, no matter how much speculation there has been about his release."
That being siad, PFT will give you daily updates, which are not really updates since it will just be more speculation.

Mike Brown doesn't willingly release folks who he's invested a ton of money in, its just not how he operates. Bryant will either remain on the 53 man roster or be put on IR, all this business about his pending release is pretty hard to believe. 'Course, I've been wrong before, not this time though.
