It’s injury scare Friday night for the Eagles in Kansas City.
First, their most explosive offensive player DeSean Jackson exited the game with a back injury.
Now comes word that their best defensive player Trent Cole was carted off the ankle injury. Multiple reporters on the scene pass along the news that the Pro Bowl defensive end will undergo an x-ray to check out the damage.
The injuries will overshadow what’s also been a scary performance by Kevin Kolb. He’s completed 4-of-13 passes for 29 yards at halftime.
UPDATE: Initial x-rays came up negative. That’s a positive.
UPDATE II: Cole will undergo an MRI. That’s less positive.
