Carson Palmer loves his receivers

Terrell Owens and Chad Ochocinco are a pair of receivers capable of driving a quarterback crazy. But Bengals quarterback Carson Palmer couldn’t be happier with them, or with the rest of his targets in the Bengals’ passing game.

Palmer completed nine of eleven passes for 95 yards on Saturday night against the Bills, including three passes for 35 yards to Owens, a six-yard touchdown pass to Ochocinco and a nine-yard touchdown pass to rookie tight end Jermaine Gresham.

“I love what Jermaine is doing,” Palmer said. “I love what Terrell is doing and Chad is playing like he believes he’s the best receiver in the league.”

Palmer only played one snap into the second quarter. There was no reason for him to play longer, because the three drives he was in for showed that the Bengals’ offense is already in sync.

Um…what QB says “my receivers suck, it will be a long year”?
It is August, everyone has hope..even the Clowns and Lions.

The Bills’ offense also looked very good in this game against both the Bengals’ #1 and #2 defenses. Youe need to give them some credit. The Spiller draft pick looks pretty smart at this point as he will be a threat all year and opens up the passing game. Their OL also has shown improvement in each preseason game…also supporting their decision not to draft an OL with their first pick. Guys like Bulaga (who many thought they should pick) have not even been able to make it as a starting OG let alone at OT. Finally trent Edwards has regained his confidence and looked great against the Bengals. Granted Cornell green is a major liability at ORT, but he probably won’t be starting after week 4 when Jamon Meredith takes his job away. Stop beating up on the Bills because it has become fashionable. They WILL beat the Dolphins in Week !!

Sounds like Michael David Smith has a bit of a hard-on for the Bungles.

Good P/U by Bengals. Pat’s young secondary will hve its hand full next week if they dont generate presure on Palmer.

Wow against the mighty Bills ? Yeah lets be really proud of that one. The Bills wouldn’t be competitive in the CFL much less the NFL.

Who’s “Bob Snaders”? I guess it’s better to be a “typical USC QB” over a typical USC running back, like your apparent hero.

Of course Florio already proclaimed this team to struggle on passing offense since he judged them on the first (NFL) preseason game against the Cowboys.

I really dislike new stories appearing anywhere but the top of the list.

As a bengals fan, I really saw some promise from these bills. they played a good game two straight weeks against indy there defense looked very impressive and they looked solid against our #1 offense. We did score on them rather easily, but there
#1 weren’t too shabby either. I think people need to give credit where credit is due. I would rather be a bills fan at this point then a doo-doo browns fan. haha brownies suck!
P.S. How bout dem steelers!!! They suck!
    WHO DEY!!!!

Palmer has a lot to prove this year.
Tons of haters out there, it would be nice to see him make the Pro Bowl as the starter this year. If this happens, look out Dallas in February! (Which means Palmer would be respectfully declining the Pro Bowl gig.)
