Percy Harvin on migraines: “Everything should be behind me”

Vikings wideout Percy Harvin returned to the field Saturday night, catching two passes for 30 yards against the Seahawks. Harvin believes he won’t be sidelined again anytime soon by migraines.

“We did find something,” Harvin said. “It’s not life-threatening, but it’s something that we need to work on, and we will.”

The Vikings’ trainer mentioned that an adverse reaction to some medicine may have partially caused his latest collapse. Whatever it is, Harvin is convinced they may have finally found an effective treatment for his chronic and crippling migraine headaches.

“They found some things that we think is the main cause of it,” Harvin said of a test on Friday. “We’re all feeling really confident. I know we said that a couple times, but I think this time we found what the main cause was. I’m not saying I won’t ever get a headache again, but hopefully, we can slow it down a little bit.”

With so many other issues on the Vikings offense, it would be a huge boost for the team to put this one behind them.
