On Monday, Mike Wise invited me onto his radio show at 106.7 the Fan after the poop hit the propeller regarding the Ben Roethlisberger hoax. His producer called me, but Wise was out of time for the day. So Wise’s producer said they’d try to get me on Tuesday.
On Tuesday, I didn’t hear from Wise’s producer.
But I heard from Matt Cahill, producer of the show that follows Wise’s daily program. And Cahill invited me on (as he does once every couple of weeks) to visit with LaVar Arrington, whom we love, and Chad Dukes, whom we tolerate. (Just kidding Chad. We don’t tolerate you.)
So I accepted. And they gave me the floor. And I took it.

I don’t know, Mike. I agree that Wise f**ked up by doing what he did, but it just doesn’t seem right that you’re the one, on his station, reading him the riot act on journalistic intergrity. I mean, not to come off low blow-ish, but you’ve been there, right?
Also, where was your tough guy talk for ESPN and all those spin doctors, when they were reporting on Favre texts that they couldn’t track the source from? Those simpletons reported the story, and then didn’t even talk to Favre until almost 2 days later, as he sat in his 18 wheeler.
I like your website, and your a good guest on The Fan, but today’s appearance on Dukes Show was a bit of “show”. A little too self serving sounding, and very one sided ( yeah, nice job Dukes and Lavar for all your “great” input, as you stood up for Wise- NOT)
Wise’s tweet (yeah, I said tweet-not novel, or column) was a joke. He got hammered by the Post, a week before the start of the football season, and I’m sure he’s sorry for what he did. Now give it a rest, Mr. Perfection.

I for one am ecstatic that Mike Wise finally made the world (instead of just me) fully aware of how big of an idiot he is. I gave him his fair shake when his show started over a year ago, and I just couldn’t do it. Not only is the guy annoyingly non-funny (though he thinks he’s the funniest man alive), but he is also the biggest idiot I have ever heard. His thoughts and opinions are completely asinine. Unfortunately, I will have to listen to his crappy show for the remainder of the week in hopes that he has Florio on his show so I can listen to Mike and Mike battle it out. And as soon as the happens, Wise will be off the dial yet again.

Quit playing the victim role and just accept the fact you were exposed for the fraud that you are and move on already. I loved how you kept holding Wise’s actions on twitter to those of professional journalists as if you have a clue about that profession. You run a blog, a good blog, but you aren’t special and you don’t have any right to tell us how Wise should or shouldn’t do his job. He intended to expose you and he succeeded.
