During training camp and the preseason, the “Days without an Arrest” meter hits higher numbers than usual, primarily because teams have greater access to the primary source of NFL-related arrests — the players.
This time around, a rare 20-plus-day streak has ended not due to anything a player has done, but because of allegations of DUI against a member of the Bucs coaching staff.
Josh Poltilove of the Tampa Tribune reports (via JoeBucsFan.com) that Buccaneers assistant defensive line coach Chris Mosley was arrested for DUI on Tuesday night.
People that drink and drive are absolute morons…but this guy is probably drinking heavily due to some of the moronic antics by his head coach.
It’s OK. Pirates are known to go overboard with the rum every once in a while…
Hmm , wonder if he going naked through the drive thru , like they do in Detroit…..
Josh Johnson + Josh Freeman + drunk coaches = very long season for the Bucs
Is this the most contorted writing style possible for a simple story?
It’s ok, he’s used to wearing orange.
reset the arrest calendar.
we may want to consider going to a stop watch soon.
I disagree with the arrest meter being reset. I think it should only be reset when a player is arrested, not a low-level assistant.
Poltilove is a great name.
