He obviously knows more than BB who has watched every play of McCourty’s career, spent time with his head coach Greg Shiano and has spent countless hours on the Rutgers campus considering his son is a LAX stud there.
Jets fans know how to scout, they read the latest up to date draft guides they can get on the internet.
Didnt they just get the best RB in the draft, Joe McKnight, a STEAL in the 4th round?

@Simdogga77 you forgot that the dolphins choked and lost their last 3 games ( and 4 of 6, I believe). The steelers also lost big games down the stretch.
The colts definitely laid down but not the bengals. They took their starters out after the jets were up big and dominating. Jets smacked them around the next week too.
Of course they got lucky gettin in the playoffs but but you can’t deny the two road playoff games that Sanchez and the jets won against 2 division winners. All Sanchez has to do is not have 4 INT games and the jets will win 11 games.

Problem is the Fish don’t have a player on their team half as good as Revis.
Give an awful lot of credit to Rex and Tanny for drafting Kyle Wilson in the first round. the BEST part is that stupid Belicheck took Devin McCourty BEFORE the Jets got Wilson late in 1st round.
I’ve watched every RU game for past 4 years and McCourty was a very good college player but it won’t translate to the Pro’s other than special teams.
and now the Pats are going to have to start McCourty. The Pats are in more trouble than people think.

Jets are loaded for bear, they will simply roll CB Kyle Wilson to the best WR instead of Revis. Allows Cromartie to be comfortable as 2nd CB. This change probably happens in Week #3 if Revis isn’t back (and I think he will be back by then)
In fact, the rookie Wilson will likely shut down B. Marshall twice this year. Chad Henne is going to be regurgitating turf with all the blitz packages Sexy Rexy will send his way.
It’s gonna be a LOOOONG year fish fans!

Florio, did it cross your mind that Rex isn’t putting pressure cause he thinks that the jets are right!… Rex knows that a bad contract might kill the teams cap situation in a couple o years when it cones time for sanchez, Greene, Keller etc. to get new deals. He surely doesn’t wanna overspend for a guy with THREE years left on his deal. If I wouldn’t know any better, I’d be surprised how you missed the most obvious reason for Rex not putting pressure, dimwit.

Why do the Jets need cornerbacks? They have Kris Jenkins, and he can tie up all 5 linemen, plus any tight ends that may be there, while still being disruptive in the backfield.
They also have David Harris. I’m not sure if you’ve heard this, but he can fly. I don’t mean he’s fast, I mean he can honestly fly.
They also have Bart Scott, who can knock people down from 30 yards away with laserbeams that he shoots from his eyes.
Other than that, they drafted Kyle Wilson – IN THE FIRST ROUND. That guy can cover 4 receivers at the same time. He’s that good.
Antonio Cromartie’s sperm is magical and will intercept any ball thrown from anywhere. Hell, there will be so many of them they’ll be intercepting passes from the hot dog vendors to people in the stands (or sidelines to quarterbacks as the case may be).
Shonn Greene is the greatest running back in the history of the universe. The guy makes Barry Sanders look like Estelle Getty. Also, Ladainian Tomlinson has not only not lost a step, he’s gained 4 steps, 3 legs and the ability to grant wishes. First wish? 100 consecutive superbowl wins.
Everything I just wrote is true. Just ask any Jets fan.
