Matt Leinart is not the worst draft pick since Ryan Leaf (don’t forget JaMarcus Russell).
That having been said, this guy was obviously overdrafted. If he was beaten out by Derek Anderson, he obviously does not have the ability to be a starter. Who is he going to beat out for a starting job?

The Cardinals needs to bring in a QB that can come in a get a handle on the offense in short order.
Troy Smith in Baltimore plays in the same offense with slight terminology variations. According to Anquan Boldin.
He’s a leader has all the tools including the intangibles and remember had it not been for an illness that kept him out several weeks ‘big contract Flacco’ had not out-played him for the starting job.
Several players on the team feel the same and say he is probably the most athletic player on the team.

Maybe because Matt Leinart is the worst draft pick since Ryan Leaf, with which he shares some traits – surliness, self-importance, lack of maturity, lack of command of the offense, and an overweening sense of entitlement.
