Running back LenDale White, in the midst of resurrecting his career (kind of) as a member of his hometown Denver Broncos, suffered a setback in Thursday’s preseason finale at Minnesota.
Per the Associated Press, LenDale left the game with an ankle injury. He was hurt during a nine-yard run, and he reportedly was on the turf for a while before walking off gingerly.
The good news, if there is any, is that he already was due to begin a four-game suspension. So even if it’s a multi-week injury, it does nothing to limit his availability unless it lasts more than a month.
Before leaving, White rushed for 19 yards on five carries, with a touchdown.

Why are so many players that actually matter playing in these meaningless games? Why risk anyone that you will need for the regular season?
things just haven’t been working out since you stepped on that towel eh LenDale?

Will you pathetic losers please STFU about those stupid freaking towels? I’m getting to the point where I hate the Steelers simply because of those annoying towels. I want to wipe my ass with one of those worthless rags.
A guy on his third team this calendar year does not matter
Not much else going on there at running back
I used to think of LenDale as an elite short yardage back and good enough to play #2 on virtually any squad. Now he’s on Denver’s scrub list at #3 or #4. Ouch.
