Leinart walks away with millions of dollars & no injuries(minus the one to his ego). He is a legend at USC, will always be significant in the eyes of college football fans as a former Heisman winner.
Some team will give hm another look for a few more seasons, walk away by 30, has his NFL pension.Can work on his golf game and fish. Most guys have to wait until their 60′s to live that life and he will cut it in half…oh yeah the smoking chicks don’t hurt one bit.

This is a good thing or Matt.
One must hit rock bottom before one can adapt, over come, and achieve.
I am not writing about his NFL performance, but the way he has looked at himself in the mirror, every moring, since his Sr. year at U.S.C.
This kid was all about “Hollywood” day one after he was drafted.

Wasted talent. I should hate this guy for pissing away his skills like this, but for some reason I root for him. I have no idea why.
He’ll get one more chance, probably with Seattle. I really hope he gets his head screwed on straight. If he gives it a real effort and fails, so be it. If he pisses it away again because he just doesn’t get it, then the hell with him.
