Cardinals-Redskins one-liners

Cardinals coach Ken Whisenhunt doesn’t know if he’s comfortable winning so many preseason games.

Prospective Cardinals backup quarterback Max Hall looked great, but coach Ken Whisenhunt warned against reading much into it because team’s aren’t gameplanning: “Sometimes you get a little too excited about those situations.”

Derek Anderson and Matt Leinart combined to play only three series in the game.

Cardinals RB Beanie Wells left the game with an injury, but it proved to be minor.

Redskins WR Anthony Armstrong and RB Larry Johnson both sat out the finale, seeming to indicate they have a roster spot locked up.

Redskins LB Robert Henson, who was expected to make the team, suffered a right knee injury.

Redskins WR Devin Thomas had four kickoff returns and four catches; he should be safely on the roster.

Here’s a post-game projection of Washington’s final 53-man roster.
