Rams nearing their final 53

The Rams declared Sam Bradford their Week One starting quarterback on Saturday, and didn’t stop there.  With the deadline for teams to form 53-man rosters just hours away, G.M. Billy Devaney is active.

Linebacker Devin Bishop
Cornerback Antoine Thompson
Quarterback Keith Null
Linebacker Cardia Jackson
Defensive tackle Ernest Reid
Players placed on injured reserve: 
Safety Kevin Payne (knee)
Offensive lineman Eric Young (knee)
The Rams have 10 more players to shed to reach 53.

    Only “surprise” is Null, who started 3 games last year and was apparently beat out by former Duke QB Thaddeus Lewis.
