Rams surface as potential candidate for Vincent Jackson

The Rams had interest in free-agent receiver Terrell Owens.  And that was before Donnie Avery’s ACL popped in half.

So now that the Chargers seem to be willing to trade receiver Vincent Jackson, Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that the Rams may be in the mix.

Specifically, Thomas cites two unnamed sources who say that the Rams “could be” in the mix.

So two sources say that there are rumblings that the Rams could be in the mix for Jackson?  Jim, if this newspaper thing doesn’t work out for you, you could write for us.

    I’m sure the Rams have a large number of players the Chargers would value in a trade.

    rams should trade for v jax. why spend $50mill guarantee if bradford doesnt have anyone to throw it to? trade a 2nd rounder for v jax give him a huge contract and draft a LT in the 2011 draft and the rams will be a contender. plain and simple.
