Vikings have not signed Houshmandzadeh

So as I walked out of 30 Rock after proclaiming to the Notre Dame halftime audience that neither the Bengals nor the Vikings are interested in receiver T.J. Houshmandzadeh, I started to get e-mails from readers regarding a report from FOX 6 in Wisconsin, which cited a source who said that Houshmandzadeh had joined the Vikings.

Per a source with knowledge of the situation, it hasn’t happened.

The source didn’t say that it would never happen, but it hasn’t happened yet.

Houshmandzadeh was a hot commodity in March 2009, generating big-money offers from the Vikings, Seahawks, and Bengals.  But the football-watching world quickly learned that T.J. loves him some him — and that he loves to talk about how much he wants the ball.

Not coincidentally, the market for his services has gone dry.

What was with the weird neck hair you were sporting today, Florio? Did you have to steal from your beauty budget to make a payment on the new van?

Maybe you should ask Mike Wise he knows for sure

So Notre Dame was the only team playing? That means they were playing with themselves.

REPORT: TJ WILL SIGN WITH THE VIKES TONIGHT

  5. BigBear123 says: Sep 4, 2010 7:41 PM

    Vikes dumped Walker today.
Must be working on a locker room expansion to fit all of those egos on before grabbing TJ.

I love how Packers fans keep praying that the Vikes will move to LA. That would probably mean realignment, with the Rams moving to the North. I guess these poor, pathetic losers realize that would be the only way for them to win the north again. Keep dreaming, those who pack the back.
Whoops, I meant back the Pack. My bad……

What did you tell the PURDUE audience?

I notice it is almost always Green Bay FudgePacker fans that are the ones that say the Vikes are moving to LA……pinch yourselves, it is only a wet dream….the Vikes are not moving! Bank that!

OOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHH DAAAAAAYOOOOOOOM, that one had to hurt little vike buddies. So True, So True.

Gotta love those Packer homers and their Super Bowl talk. After all, that is the only thing they have over the Vikes in the last 40 years…… It’s like saying Christian Okoye was a better RB than Eddie George because Okoye once led the league in rushing and George never did.

Packer fans better not get their hopes too high … Gaye-Rod hasn’t been hurt for a while, so he’s overdue. Let’s see, who will Terrible Ted sign to replace him? Maybe Akili Smith? No, probably Aaron Brooks, ’cause he loves that he’s Michael Vick’s cousin and he loves the name Aaron! Rotsa Ruck!
